All employers who have at least one worker will have automatic enrolment duties. You’ll need to assess your staff, put those who meet certain criteria into a pension scheme (and make contributions to it), tell them what you’ve done, and complete a declaration of compliance.
Do you know what you need to do if you employ at least one member of staff? Do you know which of your staff members you will need to put into a pension scheme? Have you checked if your existing pension scheme can be used for automatic enrolment?
Even if you employ only one member of staff, who is employed on a temporary basis, who earns under £10,000, and who does not need to be automatically enrolled into a pension scheme, you will still have automatic enrolment duties that you need to meet.
